"It has been noted with apprehension and indignation that General (retired) Musharraf continues to occupy the Army House and enjoys the protocol and protection of Pakistan Army. He must be ousted from the Army House," a statement issued by the association stated.

The association, in a special meeting convened here, also decided to constitute a special committee to make a proposal for the trial of former president Musharraf for violating the Constitution and committing various other crimes, and a general body meeting in this regard would be held on March 28 under the chairmanship of Admiral (retired) Fasih Bukhari.

Several top lawyers, including the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) President Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan, former LHCBA President Sardar Asmatullah, and former diplomat Akram Zaki also attended the meeting. (ANI)
