Epson Rolls Out ‘Stylus Photo R1900 Printer’ In Indian Market
Epson has rolled out its eight-ink A3+ photo printer called "Stylus Photo R1900" in the Indian market.
Targeting advanced amateur digital imaging fans, the newly launched photo printer is bundled with a new ink set and better image processing technology.
The new A3+ photo printer also features UltraChrome Hi-Gloss inks that include matte black, photo black, red, orange and a gloss optimizer together with standard cyan, magenta and yellow colors.
It also comes loaded with the Epson new LUT technology that makes use of newly-created algorithms to compute and translate RGB colors to match CMYK prints for maximum accuracy and reliability with the original image source.
Besides, the printer is able to print on a range of materials comprising CDs and DVDs. It lets users to take prints straightly from digital cameras and photo-viewers with the help of PictBridge. In the meantime, dual USB 2.0 ports permit users for several PC connections. Epson’s R1900 is able to work without a PC.
The R1900 also features Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) allowing print head to fire droplet sizes as small as 1.5 picoliters. This feature is necessary in fine art prints.
Epson’s Stylus Photo R1900 printer is available at a price of Rs 39,999 in India.
