Enfileld’s Electra launched
Part of the Eicher Group, Royal Enfield has announced the roll out of its latest version of bikes. Known as the Electra Twinspark, this bike would be having spark Unit Construction Engine (UCE).
With the new bike, the company is trying to provide to its customers a more modernized version of its Royal Enfield coupled with performance and fuel-efficiency.
Said the company in its press statement that the new bike will help the company reach to the next level while maintaining the old characters of Royal Enfield.
It would do so with the help of its UCE series of engines. As per RL Ravichandran, CEO, Royal Enfield Motorcycles, the bike is about riding a lifestyle and is guaranteed to make its customers happy.
Electra Twinspark can generate 19.8 bhp of power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of 4,000rpm. It weighs 180 kilogram and can reach the maximum speed of 120 kmph.
The bike, like the others, comes in two forms. The one with the electric start option will cost the customer Rs. 93,846 while the one with kick start will be retailed at Rs. 89,846, at ex-showroom prices of New Delhi.
It would be available in three colors- silver, red and black.
