IT education services provider Educomp Solutions has clocked a two-fold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 36 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2009.

According to an official communiqué, total revenue of the company surged to Rs 209 crore in the reporting quarter, against Rs 89 crore in the same period last year.

 On a standalone basis, the net profit of the company has witnessed two-fold growth to Rs 36 crore in the quarter ended June, 30.

Company's total income increased to Rs 160 crore in the quarter under review, against Rs 72 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.
