Eagle Boys come up with low-fat pizzas
Australia's second largest pizza maker, Eagle Boys Pizza on Monday unveiled its new line of low-fat pizzas. These would be full-sized ones and would be available in 92.7 per cent fat-free range.
Known as the "Lighter Choices," this range would have five gourmet pizzas. These would include names like Primo (92.9 per cent fat-free), Continental (94.7 per cent fat-free), Chicken Carbonara (92.7 per cent fat-free), Vegetarian Bianco (97.5 per cent fat-free) and Prawn & Avocado (95.8 per cent fat-free).
The main idea behind these pizzas is to give the customer the taste of classic pizzas without the usage of any fattening ingredients. For this, the company declared, it would be using light white sauce along with freshest of toppings.
Talking about Eagle Boy's first menu overhaul in the last 23 years, CEO of the firm, Todd Clayton said that these new pizzas are an indication that the company is going for fresher and quality-ingredients without making any kind of sacrifices on the quality aspects.
Unlike in the past attempts where pizza sizes were reduced in the case of low-fat pizzas, this time the size would remain same as a normal one.
