Drydocks World Dubai, the ship repair, conversion and new-build yard has announced that it has inked a mutual agreement with BP Shipping.

The sources said that according to the tie up agreement, the two companies will work closely to achieve optimum production levels based on mutually agreed terms, which entails strict implementation of accepted standards in safety, quality and environmental protection.

The sources further added that the agreement was inked during a two-day forum attended by representatives of both conglomerates that explored areas of mutual co- operation.

The sources said that an Alliance for Health, Safety and Environment Operating Manual was also inked during the forum.
