Subsequent to the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) proclaimed that the Diwali bonus and exgratia for its 8,000 employees, labor unions, counting the Indian National Trade Union Congress (Intuc), commanded the similar for its 2,500 agreement personnel on Saturday that they later received.

The union leaders organized a gathering with the office- holders in Pune Municipal Corporation, Pimpri-Chinchwad civic organization and the PMPML representatives to talk about the matter.

According to Sunil Shinde, Pune district head of Intuc, that the enduring and the staff employees received 8.33 per cent of the salary total as bonus with Rs 4,500 exgratia.

Whilst they are very happy for them, they wish a parallel shift for the agreement drivers and conductors of PMPML.

He expressed that they organized a gathering with the office-holders and representatives at PCMC, PMC and PMPML. They expressed to them that as according to the Contract Labour Act, the contract personnel are also entitled for perks and bonus.
