DISH TV Vinay Agarwal Steps Down As CEO!
Vinay Agarwal announced his resignation as CEO DISH TV.
Agarwal came into the CEO role in June 2008 after serving on the Grindwell Norton Ltd., a Saint-Gobain Group company, as the president-Abrasives.
During Agarwal’s tenure, DISH TV consolidated its position of the company. DISH TV, considered as India’s largest DTH platform, today carries over 225 channels and enjoys approx 5 million subscribers on its platform.
Agarwal has also performed the duties of the President for the Ball and Rollers Bearing Manufacturers' Association of India. Apart from this, he has also worked for Blow Plast Ltd., TCS, Shriram Group of Companies, BPL Mobile Cellular Ltd., RPG Cellular Services Ltd. and RPG Cables Ltd.
Confirming the development, Jawahar Goel (Managing Director, DishTV) said, “As of now, we are not looking at replacing Agarwal. I will be looking after all the work that was done by Agarwal in the organisation.”
