Private sector lender Dhanalakshmi Bank has informed that it has joined hands with Bajaj Allianz to offer both life and non-life insurance products of a single brand-Bajaj Allianz.

During the occasion, Bajaj Allianz has also announced the launch of a co-branded product called Dhanam Suraksha, a health insurance with a family-floater plan, which will be available exclusively for the bank's customers.

Under the alliance, the lender will make available Dhanam Suraksha along with other Bajaj Allianz Insurance products to customer, through its 181 branches and 26 extension counters.

The products will include motor insurance, health insurance, home insurance and life insurance. The lender intends to generate 35% of its revenues from fee-based activities such as insurance by 2012.

Earlier, Dhanalakshmi bank was tied with Metlife and Oriental Insurance for distribution of insurance products.
