Equipments manufacturer Zemno has announced the launch of its new and innovative docking station for laptops, the DeskBook Pro. The company claims that it is everything a user would need from a docking pad and is equipped with various interesting features, including the firm's "innovative" ModBays technology which enables support for "internal connection of hard drives, batteries and peripherals".

The DeskBook Pro has the capability docking two hard drives at the same time, or any combination of simultaneous connection of hard drives, battery and/or peripheral devices, giving users an access to 16 input/output connections all at one time. The gadget is equipped with 7 USB ports, 3 FireWire 800 and 1 FireWire 400 ports, audio stereo input and output, one each and various other helpful additions.

We believe that our efforts have resulted in a new definition of what a State of the Art docking station should be", shared Greg DeFonzo, Zemno’s CEO and lead designer.

Compatible with up-to 15-inch Macs and PCs, the DeskBook Pro is priced at $499.99 and will be available starting January next year.
