The US citizens in Delhi have been advised to be careful and attentive as the capital may be the next target of the terrorists. The US embassy has warned the citizens of US staying at Delhi. As per a recent note, it has informed that Delhi can encounter a possible terror attack.

The terrorists are planning imminent attack in New Delhi. This has been alerted by US embassy that has been published in its website. The militants or Pakistani Islamist groups have already attacked the city before and this time they can target various crowded areas of Delhi. The US citizens have been advised to not visit those places now.

The US citizens have been advised to avoid popular shopping places including Karol Bagh, Greater Kailash, Mehrauli, Sarojini Nagar, Chandini Chowk and Connaught Place etc. The US embassy has urged US citizens, who are staying or who have travelled to the country to be careful and aware of such circumstances.

The Indian Home Ministry has also taken the matter seriously and has said that it is ready for any such attacks.
