The classic romantic drama is ready to finish its 800 weeks at the Maratha Mandir Cinema in Mumbai by 2011.

The most interesting fact is that the theater owner Manoj Desai is in no mood to discontinue the screening of this hit film.

Sharukh-KaJol starrer, which hit theatres in the year 1995 under the Yash Raj banner, has really made a record by turing the longest running film in the history of Bollywood.

Producer Yash Chopra is reportedly planning an extravagant festivity in the February 2011 when 'DDLJ' finishes 800 weeks.

The preparations for this mega event have already begun.

According to a source, "This extravagant celebration is likely to take place either at the Maratha Mandir Cinema or at a five-star hotel in Mumbai".

On October 20, 1995, the film hit theaters with full houses and thus far, it has been screening in Maratha Mandir.

The cast as well as crew of the flick will shortly receive the invitation for this splendid celebration.
