DCB reports net loss of Rs 91.31 crore in Q4
Mumbai-based Private Sector lender, Development Credit Bank, has registered net loss of Rs 91.31 crore in the quarter ended March 2009, as against net loss of Rs 7.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2008.
Further, lender's total income also dropped by 19.66% to Rs 139.89 crore in the quarter ended March 2009, as against Rs 174.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2008.
For the full fiscal ended March 2009, the bank posted a net loss of Rs 88.10 crore, as against net profit of Rs 38.33 crore during the previous year ended March 2008. However, bank's total income surged by 14.74% to Rs 645.21 crore in the year ended March 2009, as against Rs 562.30 crore during the previous year ended March 2008.
The shares of the DCB were today settled at Rs 38, marginally down compared to yesterday's close.
The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 62 and Rs 14 respectively.
