Credit Policy will decide the market direction
The Reserve Bank of India is going to produce its Credit Policy review on April 20. It has created a buzz in the domestic market. The market is in a state of range-bound and nervous. The situation is even more anxious as the annual results are going to be released soon. However, it has been an impressive last few weeks for the market.
Technology major Infosys and some other mid-cap companies have already announced their annual report. Almost all of them have reported to have satisfactory net revenue and net profit.
Despite some good result in earlier part of this month, the market is keenly waiting for upcoming announcement of the Credit Policy on 20th of this month.
Experts believe that the RBI’s Credit Policy holds the key of the market direction. The sectors who are highly dependant on the interest rate are feeling the pressure and anticipating going for correction if the RBI has some negative surprises in store during its Credit Policy announcement. It may pull down the valuation of some of the companies to 10-15%.
