Competition section opens to all feature films at IFFI 2010
The reports have unveiled that this year's International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will give opportunity to all films throughout the world.
Previously, films from Asia, Asia Pacific, Africa and Latin America were included in this section.
The officials have also decided to include Best Actor and Best Actress awards this year.
The best actor and actress would be awarded with Silver Peacock plus prize money of Rs 10 lakh.
The film producer and director Yash Chopra will appear as chief guest in the film festival awards.
According to reports, Union railway minister Mamata Banerjee will kick-off the ten-day long 41st International Film Festival of India.
The festival will also celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Film and Television Institute of India, and also showcase five non-feature films curated by the institute.
The film festival is intended to start on November 22 in Goa's Panaji city.
The Indian Panorama will showcase 21 Non Feature films including five Odiya films.
