Industry apex body for holding international trade fairs, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) along with Messe Düsseldorf, are going to organize Wire & Cable India.

Messe is also into the business of organizing fairs and from now on the two bodies will jointly take care of the Wire & Cable India event. Messe is based in Germany.

The importance of this event is that this is considered to be the most important program held for this sector in India.

The deal between the two was signed by Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII and Hans-Werner Reinhard, Vice President of Messe Düsseldorf.

Talking about the event, Banerjee said, "The two leading trade fair organizers pooling their strengths and expertise makes the platform even more attractive to international export-oriented companies to enter the Indian growth market."
