China Steps into Indian OceanAccording to reports, finally the International Seabed Authority (ISA) announced that they would be giving China a chance to explore a 10,000-square-km polymetallic sulphide ore deposit in the southwest global marine area of the Indian Ocean.

The announcement was made public by the country’s China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association.

They further claimed that earlier, looking through with Myanmar and Sri Lanka coalition, the country was not able to achieve this target.

The report also claimed that mineral exploration was the main motive behind this move but from India, the country would also illustrate secure inspection, because in that particular area, they were concerned about the military ambitions.

Meanwhile, it was not clear that after the ISA’s decision, how did Indian or another countries official’s reacted.

In the meantime, the country also secured elite privileges to outlook in a 75,000-square-km polymetallic nodule ore deposit of the east Pacific Ocean.

On the other hand, after the achievement, China Ocean Mineral Resources Research and Development Association (COMRRDA) accounted that in the history, China was the first country who had won the Africa and Antarctica exploration endorsement.

Jin Jiancai, Secretary-General of COMRRDA, cited, “The refined metals from the deposit will help China meet the increasing demand for mineral resources from rapid economic development”.
