China Mobile Ltd. has released its first quarter financial statements. It has been reported that the company has managed to register a profit for the quarter.

The profit has increased by 1.1% for this year as compared to the same quarter in the preceding year. China Mobile Ltd. is the largest phone carrier by subscriber all across the globe. Despite a strong competition, the company has posted a reasonable profit growth.

The total profit of the company at the end of the month March 2010 was 25.5 billion yuan which is around $3.7 billon. The Beijing based mobile firm has informed that the net revenue of the company has gone up by 7.7%. It has touched a figure of 109 billion yuan i. e. $15.9 billion for the first quarter of the financial year.

However, the revenue and profit figure of the company has reduced in India just after the regulator's decision in the year 2008 to restructure the mobile industry. This was meant to provide the state-owned phone companies equal chance to continue their business in the Indian market.
