CDI sells IP rights to Golden Games for Rs 710 million
Compact Disc India Ltd (CDI), India’s leading integrated Media and Entertainment Company, has entered into an agreement with Golden Games Pte. Ltd, to transfer IP rights of an animated character.
Under the agreement, CDI has sold the IP Rights of an animated character ‘Joker’ to Singapore-based Golden Games Pte. Ltd., for Rs 7.10 crore.
The funds will be used by CDI for developing and publishing online Mobile, PC and Console games in near future.
CDI is expected to generate additional revenue of Rs 20.00 crore by selling IP Rights for the Games during the fiscal 2008-2009.
