Gurgaon-based C & C Constructions has informed that the company along with its joint venture partner BSCPL has received an order for Rs 344 crore from the American consortium of The Louis Berger Group Inc. & Black & Veatch Special Projects Corp. JV.

The latest order is the single largest order received by this joint venture in Afghanistan.

In an official release, the company stated that the order is for rehabilitation and construction of nearly 103 kilo meters long Gardez Khost Road in Afghanistan.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 18 months by December 2009.

Last month, the company had received an order worth Rs 574 crore from JP Associates to construct the road from Zirakpur to Parwanoo.
