French company Uniross, the European leader in the field of battery chargers and rechargeable batteries for both the consumer market and experts, has made announcement about the creation of ‘AmperGen™’, the new powerhouse in the battery and portable power market.
This new powerhouse was created, on 10th November 08, with the joining of 3 companies including Multiplier Industries Corp, Alexander Technologies, and North American Battery Company (NABC).
Back-office firm Firstsource Solutions has revised its dollar revenue guidance for 2009 to 21% following international financial crisis and volatility in the stock market. Earlier, it had projected 33-38 per cent revenue guidance for the ongoing fiscal.
Managing Director and CEO of country’s third largest pure play BPO, Mr Ananda Mukerji said, “There is a slowdown everywhere and hence volumes are not as robust as we would have liked it to be. Though seven of our top 10 customers have increased their business with us, the increase is not to the degree we had anticipated.”

Yahoo, which is constantly making efforts to control the mobile search market, is being responded by positive responses. A recent announcement made by T-Mobile reveals that they have selected Yahoo to power its latest web2go portal. The new portal will have T-Mobile subscribers who use the Internet, use the Yahoo-powered service by default.
