Keeping the festive season in mind, Dish TV, a unit of Essel group has finally launched a much awaited religious channel facility christened ‘Bhakti Active’ on its network. 

With the latest introduced service, subscribers would now be able to see live Gurbani from Bangla Sahib and Nanded Sahib, Aarti of Sai Baba from Shirdi, Ganesh Aarti from Siddhi Vinayak, Aarti from Tirupati Balaji, Live Ganga Aarti from Haridwar and Bhasm Aarti of Mahakaal from Ujjain. 

Kirloskar Brothers Ltd has informed that its joint venture christened SCL-INDU-KBL-WEG, has received a contract worth Rs 1446 crore from the Government of Andhra Pradesh Irrigation and CAD Dept. for Pranahitha - Chevella lift Irrigation Scheme-Link VII-Package No.22. 

The scope of work involves Investigation, Designs, Execution of Lift Irrigation Scheme for drawal / Lifting of 11.5 TMC of water in 120 days from foreshore of Kondam Cheruvu near Manchippa Village, Nizamabad (M), Nizamabad District by water conveyor system with all associated components.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals has decided to quit clinical trails for its experimental Osteoarthritis molecule development. 

Further, its partner Eli Lilly has also suspended further clinical development for GRC 6211, used in Osteoarthritis pain. The Glenmark deal with Eli Lily on GRC6211 was potentially worth USD350 million.

Last October, Glenmark had agreed to sell the marketing rights for its experimental pain treatment molecule to Eli Lilly for an upfront fee of 45 million dollar. 

Bangalore-based Phoenix Group Global, a multinational conglomerate, is planning to spend over Rs 500 crore in various hotel, real estate and floriculture projects throughout the country. 

The company plans to fund the proposed investment through debt (70%) and equity (30%).

According to sources, the company would launch hotel projects under its new brand Zuri Hotels and Resorts in Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam. 

Pune-headquartered DS Kulkarni Developers has notified that the board of directors of the company at its meeting has decided to pick 51% stake in DSK Global Education & Research.

With the acquisition of shares, DSK Global Education & Research will become a subsidiary of the company.
