Britney's manager gives her the boot
Washington, Sept 18: Britney Spears has just been dealt with another blow, for her manager has announced that he is parting ways with her.
Manager Jeff Kwatinetz of the Firm confirmed that the management company would no longer be repping Britney, after being on the job for just one month.
"It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears," E! Online quoted him, as saying.
"We believe Britney is enormously talented, and has made a terrific record. But current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job. We wish Britney the best."
Kwatinetz is said to have walked after butting heads with Britney over some of the decisions she has taken.
However, Spears' label, Jive Records, insists that the move will not affect the singer’s comeback album, the release of which is still on track.
"The label does not comment on artist/management relations. We're gearing up for a Nov. 13 album release date," the label said.
Britney has been plagued by ill luck over the past few weeks, with things going woefully wrong what with her VMAs debacle, followed by a former bodyguard alleging that she took drugs in front of her kids. (With Inputs from ANI)
