Britney Spears loses Custody of both sons
Pop star Britney Spears has lost custody of her two children. The court orders have given rights to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline to take physical custody of their two children until further notice. Kevin can take custody on Wednesday as per the court orders.
Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon ordered Britney Spears to undergo drug tests two weeks ago. Britney Spears was charged with frequent user of drugs and alcohol.
The court orders said that Kevin Federline is allowed to retain physical custody of the both minor children starting Wednesday until further order of the court. The next hearing for the matter will be on Wednesday.
As per earlier decision, the court allowed both parents to share physical custody of their sons during the hearing of the case regarding custody of children. The new decision was based on the plea of Federline’s lawyer saying that Britney Spears was driving without a valid license. Britney was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident after she ran into a parked car on September 21.
The court order said, “The court's prior order including the orders made on September 28, 2007 remain in full force and effect with the following modification: Respondent is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday October 3rd, 2007 at 12 PM until further order of the Court. Respondent's ex-parte application is noticed for October 3, 2007 at 1:30 PM in Department 88."
