BOISE, Idaho, Nov. 28 -- Ian Johnson scored two of Boise State's seven second-half touchdowns Friday and the Broncos ended an unbeaten regular season by blasting Fresno State 61-10.

Boise State owned only a 13-10 lead at halftime, but Jeremy Avery started an explosion of points by running 43 yards for a touchdown 3:10 into the third period.

The Broncos finished 12-0 for the third time in five seasons, but will likely not receive an at-large invitation to play in one of the BCS bowl games. They received such an invitation two years ago and stunned Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

After Avery's touchdown run, Kyle Wilson scored on a 90-yard punt return, Tanyon Bissell threw a 35-yard scoring pass to Julian Hawkins and Tommy Gallarda caught a
16-yard touchdown throw from Kellen Moore.

That made it 41-10 going into the fourth quarter, during which Johnson scored on two short runs. D. J. Harper finished things off with a 10-yard touchdown run with 4:35 to play.

Johnson gained 127 yards on 13 carries and Moore completed 17 of 23 passes for 213 yards.

Boise State had wrapped up the Western Athletic Conference title with one game to play. Fresno State is 7-5 for the year and finished 4-4 in the WAC. (UPI)
