Berlin Council moved to name a highway by Benazir
Berlin, Apr 22 : The Berlin Council was moved by the German Social Democratic Party’s parliamentary group today for naming a highway after Pakistan’s martyred leader Benazir Bhutto.
The request petition was filed by the President of the Pak German Council for Culture, Riaz Gondal, the News quoted sources, as saying.
The petition would be presented in the Berlin’s Council session on Thursday and would come up before the cultural committee with the recommendation of the Council.
The committee would then present it to the provincial cabinet that has already expressed its intention. (ANI)
