Washington, Jan 28 : Soccer ace David Beckham is being sued by a disgruntled snapper who claims the star and his bodyguard attacked him last month.

Emicles Da Mata has filed suit in Los Angeles, claiming that the footballer reached his car, grabbed his camera and attempted to wrestle it from him, reports Contactmusic.

The lawsuit, obtained by TMZ. com, also claims Beckham''s bodyguard then beat him repeatedly before throwing the camera into a nearby rubbish bin in December last year.

Da Mata is suing for assault and battery, as well as emotional distress. (ANI)
