The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Wednesday excluded Manpreet Singh Badal, days later he was abandoned from the cabinet by the CM and his uncle Parkash Singh Badal.

The decision was taken by the party subsequent to the advice from its disciplinary action committee. The committee asked Manpreet to overthrow before it on October 20 and refrain from crafting any public speech through the interim period.

Manpreet, in spite of all this, refused to come out before the committee.

A senior most leader, Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, who is the chief of the 5 member committee, stated that the verdict to suggest Manpreet's expulsion from the party was “undisputed."

Manpreet made out condemnable declarations opposing Sukhbir (Singh Badal) and core committee members of the SAD.

Manpreet, a 4 time MLA for Gidderbaha in Muktsar district, was thrown out for his anti-party actions subsequent to his declaration against populist strategies of the government and funding system.

His expulsion also produced the succession efforts between him and cousin Sukhbir (Parkash Singh Badal's son) to a flashpoint. Both of them joined politics approximately 15 years back and intended at the CM's political heritage.
