Azim Premji Discusses Cooperation With UAE

WiproIndian businessman Azim Premji, chairman of Wipro, is on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to boost technological connections between the Gulf nations and India.

Premji and Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, ruler of Ajman, talked over ways to fortify cooperation and chances of setting up joint investments.

H. H Sheikh Humaid showed eagerness to transmit Holy Qura'an copies printed in both Arabic and English to be distributed in India.

The conference was attended by top functionaries.

It should be noted that Wipro Technologies Limited is a leading information technology services company headquartered in Bangalore, India.

According to the 2008-09 income, Wipro is one of the biggest IT services Indian companies and hires over 108,071 people globally as of March 2010.
