The defending champion Australian team will take on New Zealand in the grand final of the eight-nation ICC Champions Trophy in Centurion on Monday.  

Australian team will be eyeing to regain their dominance in the cricket world. Australian team had defeated England by 6-1 in the Nat West ODI series and they are still unbeaten in this ICC Event.
 
Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has led his team by example and he has scored 287 runs in the Champions Trophy at an impressive average of 96. Australian all-rounder Shane Watson also smashed unbeaten 136 against England in the first semi-final match.

Peter Siddle, Brett Lee, Watson and Mitchell Johnson can destroy any batting side with their current form. The only weak point in the Australian bowling department is their spinning attack. Nathan Hauritz is the only spinner in their squad and he has not performed well in the tournament so far.
