German car maker, Audi unveils its fastest version, Audi R8 GT, booking of which commences this summer and the shipment of the same will be done by next year spring.

The German car maker which has increasingly raised it share in the car market with its exclusive ranged models such as the R8 has upgraded to give it the status of being the fastest in its league. The car has a kerb weight of
1,525 kg, and a power-to-weight ratio of around 362bhp per ton.

It can attain speeds of 199mph with an EU Combined fuel economy of 20.6mpg, and a 0-62mph in mere 3.6 seconds.

It features an automated manual transmission which goes with the interiors that give a prominence of a "sharkskin look" ie, comprising a synthetic material on the dashboard and door liners with elegant white dials.

This performance oriented vehicle whilst normal driving, puts in 15% of the power to its front wheels, 85% to the rear and 30% can be redirected for the front wheels if such situations arise.
