WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 -- Mike Bibby's 21 points led a balanced attack Saturday and Atlanta held on for a 102-98 win against the Washington Wizards.
Bibby went 3-for-6 on three-pointers, but was held scoreless in the fourth period during the Wizards determined effort to overcome an 80-71 deficit.
Maurice Evans and Al Horford scored 19 points apiece, with Evans adding nine rebounds and Horford 13 rebounds with six assists.
Overall, the Hawks sank 11-of-25 three pointers, a 44 percent rate.
Marvin Williams added 14 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Hawks, who beat Washington for the third straight time, twice this season.
Antawn Jamison led Washington with 26 points, 13 rebounds and five assists.
Caron Butler scored 21 with 10 rebounds and five assists.
Darius Songalia had 16 points with four rebounds, and Antonio Daniels added 10 points for the Wizards, who have lost three of their last four games. (UPI)
