ASUS International, the affordable netbook maker, has recently released its powerful Eee PC 1201T. The netbook boasts of HD playback and ATI Radeon graphics card supported by AMD Athlon Neo processor.

The new gadget is a stylish model, which is packed in a glossy framework with an in-Mold roller technology. It comes with a 12.1 inch 1366x768 pixel resolution supporting LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio.

Other features that highlight the 1201T are 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 processor, 2 GB DDR2 memory, and 320GB HDD for storage. The HD playback is backed by ATI Radeon HD 3200 discrete graphics in this ultraportable notebook. It also comes with pre-installed ArcSoft SimHD software, which boosts the video to an HD video.

This ASUS model features a battery life of six hours with a six-cell battery pack. Other aspects of this netbook include a 0.3 megapixel web cam, HD Audio Codec, multi-media card reader, three USB 2.0 port, LAN port, Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n).

However, the element of disappointment in this device is the operating system, which is ultraportable DOS and hence users will have to buy a copy of Windows 7/Vista/XP. The ultraportable Eee PC 1201T is available for Rs.
21,490 and it comes with one year warranty.
