Apple iPhone and iPod users download at least one app every month. This was revealed by a survey done by AdMob, which shows that 50 per cent of the Apple smartphone and 35 per cent of the iPod touch users purchase a minimum of one app from the Net within 30-days period.

As compared to the Android users, this figure is quite large, making the Apple users the most apps-obsessed in their lot.

Apart from downloads, the satisfaction quotient amongst the Android consumers, and more specifically in the iPhone users, was found to be the highest.

As much as 91 per cent of iPhone users and 88 per cent of Android users were satisfied with their product. Not only that, they even recommended the services and/or devices to others.

AdMob, a company which takes care of mobile phone ads market, made some other startling revelations as well. As per the survey, the popularity of Mobile Internet Devices (MID) was on a steady rise. It also indicated a proportionate rise in smartphone business.

In the above mentioned survey, responses from 963 users were taken into consideration.
