Apple, Microsoft, Google to hold developer events next month

Apple, Microsoft, Google to hold developer events next monthAccording to reports, technology giant’s Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all planning to hold their own developer events in San Francisco during the month of June.

This means that the iOS, Windows Phone and Android platforms will see significant up-gradaions over the month. None of the companies announced their plans for the individual events scheduled for the next month.

Microsoft normally holds its MIXX developer conference in February or March while Google organizes its I/O in April or May but this year the events of all the three companies are scheduled between June 11 and June 28. Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will be held from June 11-15 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Microsoft's Windows Phone Developer Summit will be held on June 20 and 21. Microsoft has not announced the location of the event yet but it also likely to be at the Moscone Center. Google I/O is taking place between June 27 and 29, also at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

Apple is likely to offer a preview of iOS 6 that will be base for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Microsoft might announce is Windows Phone 8 and Google might release code for the next version of Android.
