Apollo To Establish Medical Unit At GMR's Hyd Airport
Mumbai: GMR Infrastructure Ltd has chosen Apollo Hospitals for establishing a medical centre within the passenger terminal building at the new Hyderabad international airport at Shamshabad.
In a release, GMR Infrastructure stated that Apollo Hospitals will establish a medical centre that stretches over an area of more than 300 square meters in Level B of the passenger terminal building and first aid kiosks in the passenger restricted areas,.
It will be a 17-bedded medical centre with facilities including ultrasound and electro cardiogram and 24-hour emergency dental services.
Apollo Medical Centre will act as an emergency cure centre for riders while on journey or in the airport location. It will also provide assistance in disaster management during emergencies like explosion, fire, earthquake, plane crash etc. within the airport premises.
The GMR Infrastructure scrip closed after adding 1.37% to Rs 767.30 and Apollo Hospital Enterprise share mounted 2.08% to Rs 490.
