It has just been three months since Tata Motors certified the Nano as ‘absolutely safe’, but the fact of the matter is, another Nano was caught in flames in the Capital recently.

While the incident happened in the parking lot in Aurobindo Marg on Friday, the driver was able to get out of the car on time. As soon as the driver saw the car catching sparks, he instantly got out of the vehicle but in a span of just two minutes only a charred frame of the vehicle was left.

The car belonged to a Supreme Court advocate, Patrick john. It may easily be recalled here that this is the third incident after the two incidents that took place at Mumbai.

The spokesperson at Tata Motors said that a team will be inspecting the vehicle and will take a call on the reasons of the same afterward. In fact, the experts have also said that they cannot blame the Nano yet.

Moreover, the experts also pointed out the fact that the user may have installed some fancy features into the vehicle without the proper wiring on the same and this can be one of the reasons for the fire.
