 Anna''s health stable, say doctorsNew Delhi, Aug 26 : Doctors attending to civil society activist Anna Hazare have said the condition of the septuagenarian is stable.

"Anna has lost seven kilos, but his blood pressure is ok and his condition is stable," said doctors.

On Thursday, Dr. Naresh Trehan, the head of Gurgaon''s Medicity Hospital and the leader of medical team monitoring his health, said: His health is table, but needs to monitored. Our team will continue monitor his health."

Hazare has refused to be administered glucose drip. He has been asked to drink a lot of water and told not to strain himself.

Hazare has been on fast since August 16, the day he was arrested and taken to Tihar Jail. He was released the same day, but he refused to leave Tihar Jail. He shifted to Ramlila ground here August 19 where he has been continuing with his fast. (ANI)
