Andrew Sachs ‘deeply hurt’ by Russell Brand’s obscenity
London, Oct 27 : Comedian Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross have deeply hurt Andrew Sachs by their obscene comments on the latter’s radio 2 show, where Andrew was set to take part.
While the two were making a phone call to Andrew, Russell announced to the listeners: “In a minute we’re going to be talking to Andrew Sachs. The elephant in the room is, what Andrew doesn’t know is, I’ve slept with his granddaughter.”
Brand continued his obscenity while referring to Andrew’s granddaughter Georgina Baillie, a model by profession, when Andrew failed to pick up the phone.
Brand and Ross did not stop there they went on to leave a crude message on
Andrew’s answering machine.
Ross shouted “he’s f***ed your granddaughter”, before joking that the comedian had “enjoyed her on a swing”.
According to the Sun, the pair left three more messages, with Brand saying in one: “I wore a condom.”
Then Ross sang: “Your granddaughter, she was bent over the couch.” They then joked that Andrew might “commit suicide”.
The Faulty Towers actor Andrew was “deeply upset and terribly hurt” by the offensive comments, and Georgina was said to be “mortified”.
While Brand and Ross have been blasted for their offensive behaviour, Crime expert and ex-Flying Squad chief John O’Connor yesterday said the “jokes” were “criminal”. (ANI)
