Anand draws seventh game with Topalov

Viswanathan Anand, Veselin Topalov  Defending champion Viswanathan Anand of India has ended up it a draw. He was playing his seventh game with Veselin Topalov in the World Chess Championship. After 58th move, the draw has been decided but the Indian maintain his one-point lead over his counterpart. Anand has managed to get one point despite the draw.

Now Anand leads 4-3 in the 12-game match. Topalov had won the first game and then lost the second and fourth games. This sixth game has turned out to be a draw. The seventh has also ended up with a draw. The game was started with an interesting ceremonial start. The former world champion Anatoly Karpov has made the first move on behalf of the Indian player Viswanathan Anand.

Veselin Topalov was looking confident. Anand had earlier won the previous two Catalan games in this match. The fifth and sixth games have been resulted as draw as well. Now Anand is maintaining the comprehensive lead. Anand did play a good game with some aggressive moves in the match and pocketed a draw.
