A bomb blast has killed six people and about 40 people were injured in the blast outside a theater in Stavropol of southern Russia. The bomb exploded on the street just about 15 minutes before the show was due to start and it has killed five women and a small girl aged 12.

Investigators have informed that the blast was carried out by explosive power of 200 to 250g of TNT.

The street where the bomb exploded was a very busy street. The show was cancelled and the artists from Chechen had returned to their place. An official of Stavropol has said that the injured people include the Russians, Americans and Chechens.

Russian government has taken this case very seriously and has said that they are very sorry for that incident and vowed to take quick step to reach to the bomb plotters.

Russian government has issued an official list of the dead and injured people with their names and ages.
