AMD Unveils ‘Teraflop’ Graphic Cards In Market
The new graphic cards from AMD can bring a revolution in cinema and cyber gaming. These cards have caliber to make gaming world and movie world more interactive. The latest AMD teraflops graphic cards are available in India now, Global chipset maker AMD announced on Tuesday in Mumbai. The company claimed that it has achieved an industry milestone through these two cards in ATI Radeon 4800 series.
According to AMD’s Chief Technology Officer (Graphical Processing) Raja Koduri, these new graphic cards will enable content creators to marry the ultra realism of today’s digital cinema with the interactive sensory experience of cyber games. These cards have reduced the 30 hr job to a few thousandth of a second.
Vishal Gondal, CEO of IndiaGames declared that these two graphic cards are great boon for Bollywood. He added that he is excited as a game developer at the opportunities for synergy between cinema and gaming that these cards offer.
A demonstration known as Cinema 2.0 experience was given along the launching of these products. This demonstration showed the amazing blending of dynamic real time interactivity with cinematic digital effects.
Chris Hook, AMD Senior Manager, Communications told these with these cards, movies will become more interactive and video games will have quality of movies. He further added that these two graphic card — Radeon HD 4850 and 4870 — would be available in India for about Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 16,000.
