The leading air carriers of the country are hoping for a better quarter ahead in the current fiscal year. They have been dealing with some of the serious issues like shrinking traffic and high fuel costs in the past two years.

These issues have been the major cause of their thin bottomline during the years. But now they all are anticipating that the December quarter will provide them reasons to rejoice.

They are now looking forward to an upswing in business in the final quarter of the year.

As per the air carriers, the economy has rebounded and now they can expect a better show later in this year. According to an airline, December is the festive season in India and Commonwealth Games will be held at Delhi in the month of October itself.

So there will be huge opportunity of the aviation industry in the upcoming quarter.

Tourism will drive up air traffic as never before in the three months period of October to December. However some of the market analysts also predicts that, the sale figure in the July-Sept quarter will not that impressive due to heavy rain fall in some part of the country.
