AI on a recover path: Praful PatelAccording to Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel, the state-owned airline carrier, Air India that has been in troubles for the past couple of years now is now on a path to recovery.

In fact, the minister also pointed out the fact that the figures for the first quarter of the current year show that there has been a strong rebound by the country's national carrier.

While the minister as addressing a press conference after Air India chairman & managing director Arvind Jadhav and his team made a presentation to the board of directors.

While the presentations focused on the financial rebound of the company, Patel also emphasized on the fact that there is no need for job cuts as the growth plans envisaged would absorb the existing manpower. It is to be mentioned here that the troubles airline carrier has posted a total loss of Rs 8000 crore in the last three years, which is likely to shoot up to Rs 13000 crore this year.

However, there has been a rebound in the airline traffic for the company and hence it is believed that it will consistent for many more quarters to ensure a healthy future for the company.
