Ahluwalia Contracts wins various orders worth Rs 394 crore
New Delhi based civil engineering contracting firm, Ahluwalia Contracts Ltd has informed that the company has secured various orders worth Rs 394 crore.
The company has secured first order worth Rs 72.84 crore from Delhi Metro Express for construction of Dwarka Depot including civil, building services and architectural work in New Delhi.
While, the second order, valued at Rs 50 crore has been received from Tata Medical Centre Trust, for construction of general building, finishing and miscellaneous works of Tata Medical Centre, situated at Kolkata.
The third order, which is for construction of D.N.Nagar Depot, Mumbai has been secured from Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. for Rs 184.09 crore.
The last order is for Retail Development in Arena Town Centre at Uppal, Hyderabad by Topnotch Projects Pvt. Ltd. for Rs 87.08 crore.
It may be noted that, the company's order book as on Dec. 31, 2008, stood at Rs 415 crore, to be executed over the next 24 months.
The scrip of the company is presently trading at Rs 34 on BSE, up 5% compared to previous close of Rs 32. The company shares have plummeted over 95% in just one year, from its 52-week-high of Rs 377.
