Adobe’s prototype based on Google’s Android

Adobe’s prototype based on Google’s AndroidThe web 2.0 Expo, San Francisco had a new member in Adobe family, a prototype of an Android-based tablet for display which worked on the so-called ARMdroid platform, reports tech website, Zedomax .

This Android OS 2.1 based tablet was showcased to highlight the AIR and Flash based platform of Adobe. A wired application was also seen running that signaled that the third application developed using Apple's tools will be able to work on Palm WebOS, now a part of HP and Microsoft Windows Phone 7 platforms as well.

Posed to become a supposed rival of Apple's iPad, this prototype comes with a 10.1-inch capacitive wide touchscreen and has Nvidia's Tegra SoC to support the smooth running. Screen transition is much convenient and responsiveness towards applications are much superior to current Android-based handsets like the Google Nexus one or the HTC Desire.

However the prototype, which is still under factory processing, seems to generate queries.
