Adobe proclaims Flash 10.1 pumped in with new featuresAdobe has announced its Flash Player version 10.1 software for all the users of Mac OS X, Windows and Linux platforms.

As expected, this version brings in a host of features along with that will aid in smooth content rendering, better private browsing, also prevent Flash and browsing data from being stored locally.

The users of Mac versions of Opera, Safari and Firefox web browsers can now download the plug-in, and the only version which is not compatible is Macintosh version of Google's Chrome web browser.

Also, Adobe stated that this version is not meant for Opera and Safari web browsers. And for all the Window users it has a plug-in that will be equipped with a new DRM tool, designed to prevent continuous playback of video content over analog or digital outputs.

Adobe further said that the company is soon to roll out the final version of Flash for Android-based mobile phones. In the meantime the Flash player will be available for HP's Palm OS, Microsoft's Windows Phone 7, Nokia's Symbian OS, and RIM's BlackBerry OS in the future.
