Accurate Transformers Receives Orders Worth Rs 490.5 Mn
Accurate Transformers Ltd, leading maker of Distribution and Power Transformers, announced that it has a received orders in 25 MVA and 40 MVA capacity power transmissions.
The Company is likely to implement these orders, valued at Rs 490.5 million, within next 4-5 months time.
The total order book of the Company for transformers stood at Rs 900 million.
The company reported steady growth in standalone net profit for the fourth quarter to March 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company rose 12.44% to INR 33.90 million from INR 30.15 million in the same quarter last year. The company reported earnings of INR 11.42 a share, registering 12.29% growth over INR 10.17 per share prior year period. Net sales for the quarter rose 7.96% to INR 947 million against INR 877.20 million, while total income for the quarter rose 8.05% to INR 948.97 million, when compared with the prior year period.
Over 19 Years Accurate Transformers Limited has been one of the leading manufacturers of transformers in India. The company’s principal activity is to manufacture and repair transformers of different categories. It operates solely in domestic market.
The shares of the company, on Friday (May 30), closed at Rs 149.70, down 4.8% on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 7045. Current EPS and P/E ratio stood at 25.97 and 5.76 respectively. The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 241.9 and a low of Rs 20.58 on BSE.
