Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan on Friday backed away his resignation from the copyright team, framed by Minister for Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal to bridge disparities between film makers and creative staff over the proposed adjustments to the copyright law.

Mr. Perfectionist, in his message to Mr. Sibal, said that he would come back to the panel considering the Minister's involvement and the reiteration of confidence in him by other team members.

After an argument with well-known lyrict Javed Akhtar, Aamir stepped out of the group.

Afterward, Mr. Javed and six members from the group wanted Mr. Sibal's involvement in getting the actor back on board. (With Input from Agencies)
