534 cadets turned to officers

V K SinghOn Saturday the Army Chief General V. K. Singh dragged Five hundred and thirty-four cadets out of the Indian Military Academy here at the ceremonious parade.

The number of cadets who became officers was 518 and 12 joined Assam Rifles, a paramilitary force. From these 4 were from Bhutan.

The highest numbers of officers were from Uttar Pradesh. 58 cadets were from Uttarakhand and from Haryana, 47.

The cadets presented a guard of honour to the Former Gen. Singh who examined this. In addition they dropped flowers from the sky by help of the army helicopters. The conduit ceremony goes after.

The coveted Sword of Honour receiver Gajender Kumawat who received for being the best all-round cadet had a very self-righteous moment.

Kumawat comes from Madhya Pradesh. He is the first person in his family to join the Army.

Jaidev Dangi received a gold medal. He got it in the order of merit in the regular course and stood first in it. 50,475 officers were given training for the Army by the IMA.
